Healthy Baby GIRL Schwengel

Yea!!! It's a girl! She's so cute! I know, I know...you can't tell much from an ultrasound...but we think she's just beautiful. And...Yes, Andrew is doing fine...although he did say to me, "I don't know anything about dollies and dresses." He's going to be the best little girl's daddy...I just know it!

Our little girl has a big mouth just like her momma!

Her precious little foot.

Girlie parts!

Profile of the beauty...

Both sets of grandparents came down to the doctor with us. It was really neat to have them there. My dad was not so sure about being in the room with me and my big belly ...but he loved it! I heard him say, "Look, there's the heartbeat!"

We met Erika, Joe, Ellie, & Jake at Fujiyamas (sp?!) a Japanese steakhouse to celebrate. Ellie was just dieing for it to be a girl...She's one happy cousin.

20 Weeks

Here it is...The big belly! It's gotten so much bigger this week. I hadn't really felt too much movement and then last night...after some Olive Garden goodness...by golly, our baby was kickin' up a storm! Andrew was able to feel it too...very, very cool... We go to the doctor this Tuesday for our ultrasound and will know at last who will be joining our little family...boy or girl??? My gut says girl...Andrew says, "Probably"... everyone else is having boys! :)

Darren & Lisa's Wedding

Darren, a good friend from high school, and his bride, Lisa were married yesterday. It was so much fun...they had planned an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception at the Hidden Lake Winery. Well,...it stormed and so everything was indoors...not what they had planned but really beautiful and fun. Andrew had to work and Murphy had to stay home...

Sad Murphy

Darren & Lisa

My mom & dad were there...looking quite nice, in my opinion. My dad is training to run a marathon this fall...he ran 12 miles yesterday. I was suppose to train with him...I can't say I'm too disappointed!

The girls: Hayley, Tracy, & Janna
Emily & Jacque

Okay, so there's a story behind this glass of dark liquid. It doesn't seem near as funny as it did last night...And I was sober... Paul, Janna's husband, got a glass of "tea" and it was pitch black and smelt like mushrooms and tasted like beef broth. We past it all around the table trying to figure out was was wrong with it...I didn't get my sniffer anywhere near the unknown liquid for fear of puking once again. I'm guessin' this is definitely gotta be one of those "had to be there" stories...but here it is...the glass of tea/mushroon/beef broth...as requested. Don't let this tea mishap fool you...we all had a delicious meal and stuffed ourselves silly.

Jacque and Zac

We had such a great time and can't wait to see each other again next weekend at our 10 year class reunion. 10 years???

4th Friends

Here's the 16th week picture. This was taken in the morning and I swear I look so much bigger at night! Gravity! I'm 17 weeks now and thought I felt the baby move this morning. Who knows?! It only happened twice and I haven't felt anything all day...

Our good friends Jon and Julie came up to visit from Nashville this weekend. It (as always) was so good to see them. The boys did lots of boy stuff (fishing, cold ones, bon fires) and us girls did lots of girl stuff (talking, cooking, talking). We went to Jon & Ann's for their annual 4th party & fireworks...I forgot my camera. And then we had a last minute cookout at our house on Saturday. Here we are (well, Jon & Julie) at the fairgrounds for the city fireworks.

Nathan & Amber...Du Quoin friends! Amber is due in August with their first baby...a boy named Briar. :)

Baby Schwengel

We had another appointment today and heard the heartbeat. It was 144...I also had some blood work done...hope it all comes back normal. This is the first video I've ever tried to post...we'll see how it goes. Please excuse my double chin...lovely.

Landscaping

My mom & Andrew did a bunch of landscaping...I helped for about 30 minutes and then got hot and threw up...shocker. It looks so much better and makes me so happy!
