New Car!

Yippee Skippy! I got a bright, shiny, new car on Monday!
It's a Saturn Aura XR and she is beautiful!

I'm in love!

We had to drive to Effingham to get her...She came from Indiana. We searched and searched to find a white one with tan leather and woodgrain trim...and all the goodies. Sure is different than my old '97 Cavalier...170,000 miles...Andrew has taken 'ole Belle (old car) on as his commute to school car...very smart with these dumb gas prices. Anyway...new car...love it...love it...love it! She doesn't have a name yet...I'm open to any suggestions.

Take Me Out...

Bachelorette Weekend with Deb, Emily, Jacque, & I...The other lovely bridesmaids sadly could not attend. We (obviously) went to a Cardinals game...We sweat through every last inch of clothing...YUCK! But the Cards won and it was an exciting game.

Then we went back to the hotel, found some energy...and had a fabulous dinner at Eleven Eleven Mississippi downtown St. Louis. It was a really neat place. After that...we crashed!

This is just a funny story...Deb gave us (as a joke) a card that said, "marriage is an adventure...We know you marriage will be just as exciting as what you are having for dinner"...and a laundry basket FULL of unlabeled cans of food. Ha, ha... We opened two here...Andrew was thrilled we decided to play this game...

That's right...chicken noodle soup (in August) and fruit cocktail! The other stuff was some left-overs from momma Seelman's house.

Happenings

Thought I'd publish another engagement picture...
Things in wedding planning world are spinning out of control. The invitations are out and replies coming in...which is exciting...and nerve-racking! It's turned into a really, really large wedding. I feel so bad running into people (whom I like) who aren't invited. We can't invite everyone!!! I think I'm still having fun.
I had the best bridal shower 2 weekends ago. It was a lot of fun. I talked Andrew into coming at the end so everyone could meet him (give him the good look over). And this weekend we're having a little bachelorette party in St. Louis. We're going to a Cardinals game and out to eat. Should be lots of fun. SO, I guess I am still having fun! Just ready to be married already! And that honeymoon is sure sounding good!

New Additions

This weekend we decided enough bare dirt! Now, neither one of us have done any landscaping before...and it showed...we had to call my mom several times for advice. We're not sure how good it looks, but we now have some plants in place of nothingness. And it's made us so happy!

We hear these things need lots and lots of H2O!

Updates

Wow! Time is going at record pace for us! I cannot believe it's been since May that I last posted. We're still alive...just with tired muscles (from the move), few more wrinkles (from the stress of it all), and with lots of excitement (our new life together is quickly approaching!)Last weekend Hayley and I were given the best bachelorette party! Janna hosted in Swansea...We spent the afternoon at Hidden Lake Winery and then ate at Olive Garden, and spent the night at Janna's Bridal Bed & Breakfast Inn. We stayed up until 3:30 a.m. telling old stories, watching old dance recitals, and just being together. All 10 of our FHS crew attended this grand event. We hadn't all been together in one spot in years. It was fabulous! I can't wait for the next time we can all get together and tell old stories!
