Best Husband Ever

Andrew decided to cook dinner tonight! We're having country fried steak, mashed potatos with gravy & green beans! It's a Cracker Barrel favorite in the comfort of our own home!

Those doors lead to the biggest linen closet in the world...I can fit 2 laundry baskets in there...And Andrew has actually got it now: whites on the left, colors on the right. :)

I didn't know what to do with this shelf...it's a work in progress. I've seen on decorating shows where they roll up towels and make 'em look all cute...I tried! The little spout was Andrew's Grandpa Greathouse's...it's aftershave!

About Time!

Andrew's 28th Birthday was October 5th & my 27th was October 12th!
We've had plenty of cake in one weeks time!

It's been a busy weekend. My mom and I painted the bathroom...Oh, it makes me so happy! I'll post before and after pictures later. It made me feel so good to get one room done...I started another. It's not completely finished but I'm hoping to get it done this week.

We are seriously having so much fun being married. It's a completely different feeling...We love it! It was hard for us to go back to normal life today though...

We Did It!!!

Our wedding day was so much fun! I love, love, loved it! So many people came from so far away. We heard over and over what cool friends and family we have. Andrew & I felt very blessed and full of joy. We are enjoying our honeymoon now...Just wanted to share a few photos...a preview should be up soon on our photographers website (link at the side).

New Car!

Yippee Skippy! I got a bright, shiny, new car on Monday!
It's a Saturn Aura XR and she is beautiful!

I'm in love!

We had to drive to Effingham to get her...She came from Indiana. We searched and searched to find a white one with tan leather and woodgrain trim...and all the goodies. Sure is different than my old '97 Cavalier...170,000 miles...Andrew has taken 'ole Belle (old car) on as his commute to school car...very smart with these dumb gas prices. Anyway...new car...love it...love it...love it! She doesn't have a name yet...I'm open to any suggestions.

Take Me Out...

Bachelorette Weekend with Deb, Emily, Jacque, & I...The other lovely bridesmaids sadly could not attend. We (obviously) went to a Cardinals game...We sweat through every last inch of clothing...YUCK! But the Cards won and it was an exciting game.

Then we went back to the hotel, found some energy...and had a fabulous dinner at Eleven Eleven Mississippi downtown St. Louis. It was a really neat place. After that...we crashed!

This is just a funny story...Deb gave us (as a joke) a card that said, "marriage is an adventure...We know you marriage will be just as exciting as what you are having for dinner"...and a laundry basket FULL of unlabeled cans of food. Ha, ha... We opened two here...Andrew was thrilled we decided to play this game...

That's right...chicken noodle soup (in August) and fruit cocktail! The other stuff was some left-overs from momma Seelman's house.
