Hartford Wedding & Sara's Shower

Emily Morris & Daniel Hartford were married on Saturday. Beautiful outdoor wedding... Makes me feel really old...
little Emily is married????

Emily & Marilyn

Sara & Brother John's wedding is quickly approaching.
We had a shower for Sara on Sunday. Her mom & dad were able to spend a couple of days in the big 'ole town of Flora. I really enjoyed getting to know them & can't wait for the Big Day!

Future Groom & Bride

It was good to see my girl cousins at the shower. Adrienne had her babies with her, Allison & Benjamin and Helen had her new baby, Lucy, with her. OH! So sweet!

Life here in preggo land is not fun. Dare I say I hate it...I've not been feeling well at all. Instead of getting better it's getting worse. I know it will all be worth it in the end...but dear goodness...I have a whole new respect for mommies.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

Jon & I went over to Herrin to see Jake's ballgame Saturday. He told him that he'd pay him $5 for every home-run and $1 for every time he made it across the plate...Jake made $11 when it was all said and done!!!

I had a great time hanging out with my wonderful niece, Miss Ellie. It was Fun Day at the park which means LOTS of candy & food...oh, and fun!

Courtney & Landrey Erin & Jack
This was taken last weekend in Flora at Hayley & Jarrod's cookout. I guess I dropped the ball on taking pictures...this is all I got! And we had such a good time with everyone and their babies. Erin is expecting her second boy any day now.

Side note...I have an official "Baby Bump"...there is no denying...this isn't just belly fat! :)

1 + 1 = 3!!!

Wait a tick!...Is that a faint little second line???

There it is again...a second faint little line!

Let's make sure this isn't just the Dollar Tree pregnancy test error... By golly...it's TRUE!

Might as well check one more time...

WE'RE PREGNANT!!!!

This is my parent's reaction...Andrew's are just as excited...just didn't get it on film.

Here are some Q & As:

1) Were we trying to have a baby?
no. but we weren't exactly not trying either...call it a science experiment!
2) How far along are we?
9 weeks and counting
3) When is the due date?
December 14th
4) How am I feeling?
Like crap...to be honest. Meat is the biggest turn off right now. I feel okay during the day (just really tired) and then I feel horrible at night. I'm really hoping 2nd trimester will bring good, happy pregnant feelings.
5) Will we find out the sex?
YES! We both are way too excited to wait.
6) What do we think it is?
Everyone except Andrew & Jake Davis thinks it has got to be a girl...We're just calling her "Peach" for now.
7) Are you showing?
It's hard to tell what is just my fat layer and what might be baby...I think it's gotta be baby, right?

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Renovations

YES!!! New appliances! My parents came down this weekend to help us install the up-to-date appliances... We've just jumped like 4 generations of appliances...good riddance copper-tone brown!

Poor things...they honestly look way worse in the garage than they ever did in the kitchen!

The micro/hood couldn't be installed this weekend b/c of the cabinet situation. My dad took the cabinets back home with him to re-work so we can install the microwave...kinda crazy!

Flooring is our next project...stay tuned!

New wall oven...oh so nice...It makes me so happy!

Tara's Baby Shower

Miss Tara...er...Mrs. Tara had her baby shower Saturday before Easter. Josh & Tara are getting excited to welcome their new baby boy this June. His name is Noah...and from the 4D sonogram pictures he apparently looks like Josh.

Tara and Maggie met me today for lunch...oh so nice... Tara is looking & feeling great. And Maggie is on Spring Break this week.
I've been wanting to cut my hair...not too short...just some sorta style. So...we randomly got my hair cut during my lunch hour (um...and 1/2)... I was home for ~5 minutes before Andrew noticed...granted he was busy folding laundry when I walked in the door... He asked if I was sad he didn't notice sooner...Um, No...just keep on a foldin'! :)

Okay, I know...very busy picture...but for all you Gracelanders... Marla Martin (Gabe's wife) is also expecting and she's sitting over towards the kitchen in the black shirt... She's adorable pregnant.

I try to post some pix of my new hair.

Atlanta Motor Speedway

Race fans...Julie & Jon, Emily & Andrew, Jessi & Alex

10 rows up from the start/finish...hear them engines roar!

Personally, I didn't really get Nascar from just watching it on t.v...they go around in a circle...what's the big deal.... BUT! After seeing the cars go 180 mph inches from each other, I've got a whole new appreciation for it. It was really fun. Andrew's driver is 1 Martin Truex , Jr. and Jon's is 07 Clint Boyer. I've decided that 9 Kasey Kahne is going to be my driver. He seems like a nice guy!

We didn't realize how pasty-white our skin has gotten over the winter. None of us wore any sunscreen...so we are R-E-D, RED! Andrew doesn't look nearly as goofy as me and my Rudolph nose. Great...very professional...

Georgia Aquarium

Georgia? Yes, Georgia! We had planned a trip to Michigan to see Alex & Jessi...But who wants to go north at this time of the year? Andrew called Alex and said, "Let's go to the Nascar race in Atlanta!" and Alex said, "Awesome! We'll fly down tomorrow!"...This was on Tuesday of last week. Then Andrew thought...let's get Jon & Julie to come too. So he called Jon and Jon said, "Sweet, dude...We're there!" And all the ladies said, "Are you guys crazy?...(answer, yes)...Don't leave us at home!"

So, we drove down on Friday and meet Alex & Jessi in Atlanta. They had been there since Wednesday. We just relaxed, ate our fill at Famous Dave's and saw a movie. Saturday we went to the aquarium and hit Bass Pro...and then met up with Jon & Julie for dinner. Sunday was all about the race (I'll post some pictures)...

Atlanta has the largest aquarium in the world! (at least that's what Andrew keeps telling people...I think he read it somewhere...so just take my word for it) It was amazing...so cool to see all these underwater creatures so close.

These were taken in this tunnel...they swim right on top of you!
